Our shop and showroom at 20 John Williams Street in Attleboro, MA, closed on January 1, 2020.  We have now retired and will be building custom furniture on a limited basis.  Thank you all for supporting our business for the past 46+ years!  It has been a joy restoring your antique furniture and creating art furniture from reclaimed antique materials for you and your families.  We hope that our life’s work of restoring, salvaging, reclaiming, recreating and creating has brought a smile to you, your families and future generations.

As some of you may know, I have stored many boxes and shelves full of antique treasures of all kinds, most of which was purchased in the 1970’s and 1980’s when we were located in Norton, MA.  I finally have time to unpack those treasures and started an eBay store in February of this year called “Pinnacle Pickers”.  You can check it out at http://www.ebay.com/str/pinnaclepickers.  We are posting daily so you just might find a unique antique item for gift giving or to add to your collection!

The best way to contact us is email at info@creativeartfurniture.com  We wish you all good health and joy every day of your lives.

Sincerely,

Chris and Steve Staples

Signet and Certificate of Authenticity

staples cabinet makers certificate of authenticity  staples cabinet makers paper label

One of the many factors that make a Stephen C. Staples designed piece of creative art furniture irresistible is its historic lineage.  Surfaces come alive with marks left by a craftsman’s hand ten or more generations past.  Each of Staples' pieces are signed with Stephen’s signet mark on the surface.  A paper label is applied, signed and dated by Stephen C. Staples.  The new owner is also presented with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity that tells the story of where the wood came from, how to date the wood and any other historical notes.
